Why We Play

We’re a group of pickleball addicts.
Plain and simple.

We play it. We watch it. We talk about it more than we probably should. We argue about drops, debate DUPR, break down points after they’re over, and think about the game long after we’ve left the court.

Pickleball isn’t something we dabble in. It’s something we’re fully in.

And at some point, we realized something felt off.

Everywhere we looked—online, on Amazon, at tournaments—it was the same pickleball shirts over and over again. The same recycled jokes. The same loud graphics. The same designs that felt like they were made about pickleball, but not by people who actually live it.

So we decided to make what we wanted to wear.

002 exists to create pickleball gear and designs you won’t find anywhere else.
Pieces that feel natural on court. Designs that don’t shout. Humor that doesn’t explain itself. And references that only make sense if you’ve been there—standing at the kitchen, waiting to serve, talking trash between points.

Some of what we make is subtle. Some of it is playful. All of it is intentional.

Everything we design is rooted in pickleball culture—the habits, the language, the personalities, and the small moments that players recognize instantly. If you know, you know. And if you don’t, you’ll still feel the difference.

This isn’t novelty merch.
It’s gear for people who genuinely love the game.
